I first started supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in 2015, when a friend of a friend was seriously ill in hospital with Cystic Fibrosis and required a lifesaving double lung transplant. At the time, her campaign to encourage more people to sign the Organ Donor register struck a chord with me having seen, only a few years earlier, how being a Donor can give comfort to families at a time of such sadness. It was then that I really began to understand how the charity’s involvement really can change lives. I went on to successfully secure a corporate partnership between the Trust and a UK Bank, at the same time raising awareness of the illness and the great work the charity does to support the Cystic Fibrosis community.
